# How do I change my address on file?
## Updating your address on file is quick and easy through your Jane account.
You can update your address any time through your Jane account. Here's how.
### Update your address
1. Log in to your [My Account](https://shift.janeapp.com/) from the Shift Collab booking site.
2. Select My Account.
3. Select Contact Info.
4. Enter your new address.
5. Select Save Contact Info.
Your updated address is saved right away and applies to your file going forward.
**Why keep this current**
Your address on file helps us keep your account accurate and can matter for insurance claims or identification purposes, so it's worth a quick check if you've recently moved.
